Do I need a special mattress to use an adjustable bed?

No, you don’t need a special mattress to use with the ErgoLift or ErgoLift-Pro Adjustable Beds. They work with most standard mattresses (under 40cm high) including almost all Ecosa designs (Excludes TrueFirm Mattress). Avoid using bonnell spring mattresses, as they aren’t compatible.

Do I need a special bed frame to use an adjustable bed?

No special frame is needed to use the ErgoLift or ErgoLift-Pro Adjustable Bed. The base can be used on its own or will work with most bed bases/frames when placed on slats or within the frames, as long as the frame doesn’t have protruding cushions.Compatible Ecosa Bed Bases & Frames Include: Rise, Cove, Drift, Luna, Haven, Alta, Breeze and Zen.ErgoLift and ErgoLift-Pro are NOT compatible with bed heads featuring large cushioned headboards, such as Ecosa’s Sierra and Elio. This is to ensure that there is space for the mattress to move when adjusted.

They are also compatible with equipment like CPAP machines — just ensure cords and tubing have enough clearance when adjusting — and always follow the safety and setup instructions in the booklet you receive with your ErgoLift.
