QUALITY NOT QUANTITY

Is a higher thread count better?

You've probably heard a higher thread count equals better quality bedding. But the combination of the weave and thread count is what really matters. Choosing fibres with a longer staple length at an optimal thread count, as in our cotton range, allows more airflow than higher TC bedding with shorter fibres (that's also more prone to pilling).

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! Ecosa's Silk Bedding is hypoallergenic, made of 100% natural, odourless mulberry silk that aligns with our skin's pH level.
Yes, Ecosa's Silk Bedding is certified by STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, ensuring the highest quality 30 Momme pure mulberry silk.
Currently, Ecosa stocks 100% pure silk pillowcases, but keep an eye out for future products like silk bed sheet sets (fitted sheets sets and silk flat sheets), duvet covers, eye masks, quilt covers and more!
The main difference is that satin sheets are made from synthetic materials with a smooth and shiny surface, while momme silk sets are crafted from 100% natural silk fibres known for their luxurious softness and breathability.
No, silk satin is not the same as 100% pure silk. Silk satin refers to a type of fabric weave, known for its smooth and glossy surface. It can be made from various fibres, including silk, polyester, or a blend of materials. On the other hand, 100% pure silk refers specifically to fabric made entirely from natural silk fibres, usually sourced from mulberry silkworms. While silk satin can be made from silk, it can also be made from other materials, so the two terms are not interchangeable.
