Caring for your Transcend Bed Base and Bed Head
Following these care instructions will ensure your Transcend Bed Base and Bed Head stands the test of time.
The Transcend collection includes: Breeze Bed Base, Drift Bed Head, Cove Bed Head, Sierra Bed Head and Crest Bed Head.
How to clean and maintain your bed frame
Our Transcend collection includes two fabrics – a mélange woven fabric and a premium bouclé. The care instructions below apply to both.
Avoid placing bed in direct sunlight
Vacuum regularly on low suction
Blot spills immediately with an absorbent towel or clean, damp cloth
Spot clean with upholstery shampoo, mild detergent or a mild cleaning solvent
Avoid scrubbing and the use of harsh detergents
(Sierra) Cushion covers can be removed and machine washed on a warm or cold cycle
Steam cleaning
We recommend leaving deep cleaning of your bed frame to the pros and finding a local upholstery cleaning company to do the job.
Fabric protector
We can’t guarantee the performance of third-party fabric protectors, so we don’t recommend using these on your bed base or bedhead. If you do decide to use one, please follow instructions and test it out in a small, hidden area of the bed base or bedhead first, just in case. If applied incorrectly, these fabric protectors may discolour or change your fabric, which will not be covered under your 5-year warranty.
How to maintain your warranty
In order to maintain your warranty, ensure you do not alter your bed base or bedhead. This includes sanding, varnishing, cutting or reupholstering any of the parts.
