Breaking in your new mattress
It usually takes a couple of weeks to get accustomed to your new mattress. Here’s how you can help speed up the process.
Ensure your bedroom is warm
Remove the plastic sheets and let your mattress breathe for a few hours before you put on your bedding
Break it in with bodyweight - try laying on your mattress for a few hours while watching TV, or use some books to mimic bodyweight
Caring for your new mattress
Your mattress does not need to be flipped upside down or rotated
If using the mattress directly on the floor, you will need to allow the space
You may remove your zip cover and machine wash it.(We recommend washing every six months)
How to clean your mattress
WITH stains/odours
1. Remove washable cover and machine wash as normal

2. Air dry where possible
3. Vacuum the mattress surface (Remember to go over the sides as well)
4. Spot-clean the stain with a lightly damp cloth and mild detergent (e.g. dishwashing liquid)
5. Work your way from outside the stain towards the centre in a circular motion
6. If a bad odour is present from urine or sweat, fill in a spray bottle with a mixture of 3⁄4 cup water and 1⁄4 cup vinegar, spray and repeat Step 5
How to clean your mattress
with NO stains/odours
1. Remove washable cover and machine wash as normal
2. Air dry where possible
Drying your mattress
Sprinkle baking powder on damp areas and let it absorb the wetness. Expect it to clump up after 30 minutes, then vacuum it.
